| Hi there Anneke Thanks for the link to your blog - what a great idea, you are very clever and creative to make up something like this. I will be perusing it in my own good time, but might take a little while. Regarding disclosure, I am still trying to decide on a photo to submit, at which time I will ask them if it is possible, for me to post a picture of my time in Canada..... one can only try ..... it is such a fantastic idea. Trust a Canadian!!! Keep happy. Slainte from Scotland | ||

| Hey Mudhooks, You mentioned on my comments page about a frozen caterpillar you found and it was still alive. I recently read about the Artic Wollybear caterpillar it lives up to 14 years freezing and thawing out each summer then becoming a moth for a few weeks until it breeds and dies. Your near the Artic aren't you? | ||

| Enjoyed my visit to your site and the butterfly house photos. Keep up the work. I shoot butterflies as hobby and do license a few for books and such. From a blue guy in a red state, can I move up there? | ||

| Here I am again - thank you for the nice comments, I use a Fuji Finepix A203, a basic digital, and I get such pleasure from taking pictures, as I am sure you do. We stayed in Montreal for a year in 1964, and then in Toronto for another four years, having in between moved down to Florida briefly, then back to Canada. Loved it, missed family, which brought us home to Scotland. Always will have a soft spot for Canada!!! I will look out a picture of Canada from my memoirs, and then ask them if they mind me submitting one. Thank you for the information, it is a wonderful idea, and I would love to be part of it. My eldest daughter in Canadian, born in Scarboro General Hospital, Ontario. She is proud of that, even though she has lived most all of her life in Scotland. You are of good stock, with your mum and dad, be proud!! | ||

| Thank you for the link, I have just checked it out - and left a comment - you must be so proud of your dad!! I lived in Canada for five years in the '60's and am fascinated by the idea of the cultural website - I would love to submit a photo from my time there, but don't know how to do it. Many thanks for sharing. Slainte - Myra | ||

| Hi there Just popped in and had a look at your Remembrance Day photos - it was good to see so many people in the streets - six of us were walking in the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland on Remembrance day and stopped for 2 minutes silence on a rocky path not far from where the Norwegian fighters trained from 1941 to 1945. Stay happy Cheers Myra | ||

| Hi, Yup, I've seen that picture a million times before all over the internet. Fotki has rules against submitting pictures that don't belong to you in their contests. Hopefully, they'll pull the plug on that guy. ;o) -Crystal | ||
